Gekigami is the Brush God of Lightning. He is a giant white tiger and like all Brush Gods, he has red markings. He carries a giant bow on his back that he uses to fire lightning bolts. He is found trapped in a statue on Oni Island. In order to free him you need to draw a lighting bolt in his bow. A constellation will then appear.

[edit] Thunderstorm

Gekigami grants the Thunderstorm brush stroke. This allows Amaterasu to electrocute enemies and items by drawing a line from a power source to them. If the player learns the Secret Brush Technique, Thunderbolt, lightning can be drawn at any time. However one should be careful of the amount of ink when using it as the bigger the thunderbolt the more used. The player can also summon electricity at will when they have obtained the Divine Instrument Thunder Edge as this Glaive can be used to generate electricity.

[edit] Okamiden

Gekigami and his child reappear in Okamiden as a final Brush God to teach the Thunderstorm Brush Technique. This is learned after Chibiterasu and Kurow reach Thundercloud and beat the Thunders music mini game. This convinces them to stop their band practise and puts an end to the thunderstorms that are blocking their path through the Moon Tribe Ruins

Ko-Gekigami is a small tiger cub who rides on his father's electrical arrows and carries one in his mouth.

Chibiterasu learns the Secret Brush Technique Thunderbolt by buying it from the Shaman in Yakushi Village.

[edit] Trivia

  • The word Geki means attack.
  • Gekigami's child is only final Brush God, but he didn't gave the Solar Flare.
